A beautiful scarf made from a vintage Japanese kimono. The design features delicate maple leaves, peonies, bamboo leaves, paulownia and chrysanthemums against an off-white and beige backdrop. There are accents of beautiful gold thread.

The fabric is part of a kimono that was carefully taken apart, washed and sanitized, then dried in the cool ocean breeze. The scarf is a one-of-a-kind. Please note, the fabric is an up-cycled kimono and may have age-appropriate light spots, some uneven color fading and abrasions adding to the character of the garment.
