This delicate silk scarf in the soft shade of blue with the faintest hint of gray has a delicate shibori design.
Shibori is like a tie dye effect whereby a design is created in dot-like areas of puffed tying resulting in a soft, delicate design. The complex process makes for a beautiful effect.
The floral pattern in this scarf has shibori flowers, flowers with a soft white opalescent fill, and also gold metallic accents and flowers.
Scarf measures 57” x 6.25”.
The fabric is part of a kimono that was carefully taken apart, washed and sanitized, then dried in the cool ocean breeze. The scarf is a one-of-a-kind. Please note, the fabric is an up-cycled kimono and may have age-appropriate light spots, some uneven color fading and abrasions adding to the character of the garment.
