One-of-a-kind kimono-style cover up made from a vintage Japanese tomesode kimono. Tomesode are Japanese formal dress worn by married women. They are equivalent to evening dresses of the West.
This piece is made from a black (kuro) tomesode and has an arabesque pattern of blue-gray, gold and burgundy.
The neckline of this wrap has the banding of a kimono with a center front button. The front has a gentle curved hemline that gets longer at the center back.
Note that the vintage nature of the kimono offers inconsistencies in color and weave.
