V-Back Tomesode Dress

A beautiful V-back, cap-sleeved dress made from a 100% silk formal Japanese tomesode kimono. The black dress has an asymmetrical pattern of chrysanthemums in shades of white, peach and gold. There are also stitched flowers in orange with metallic highlights. The dress is fully lined.

The fabric of the kimono is carefully taken apart, and washed, then dried in the cool ocean breeze. Please note, the fabric is an up-cycled kimono and may have age-appropriate light spots, some uneven color fading and abrasions adding to the character of the garment. 

Do not iron over metallic highlights. Iron from the wrong side, or use a press cloth.

The piece is 100% silk. 
Lining is 100% polyester.
Inner seams are French seamed.
